Powder coat

Just bought an Eastwoods powder coat gun,has anyone used one? Can you powder coat a waterpump?

you could do a water pump .................. BUT it would need to be completely disassembled so that you would only be coating the casting. The heat will more then likely have a bad effect on the bearings lubercant. What you need to keep in mind is that raw metal parts are the only thing that can be coated. Another thing to note is threaded holes will need to be plugged (heat taped) so the powder does not get into them, example heater tap
