Is it ol to powder coat the inside of an engine?
I'm building a 350 4 bolt for my 34 vicky I used to prime the inside vallies ect. and was wondering if powder coating this area would cause some heat build up?? Dave be kind I've never sent a message like this to anyone before! |

My buddy had the intake of his '70 Pontiac 400 powdercoated. Yes, it holds in heat, in fact his gray powdercoating turned burnt brown in the center. I would give it some thought before I powder coated any spots that will take the heat. It looked cool in the beginning, now he's not so sure that it was a good idea. HotRod
