I'm building a 350 4 bolt for my 34 vicky I used to prime the inside vallies ect. and was wondering if powder coating this area would cause some heat build up??

Cool

I guess my first response would be.....why not? It's worth the extra expense, and ya it would retain more heat, but not enough to bother. It looks way cool too! There is nothin' wrong about asking questions.

My buddy had the intake of his '70 Pontiac 400 powdercoated. Yes, it holds in heat, in fact his gray powdercoating turned burnt brown in the center. I would give it some thought before I powder coated any spots that will take the heat. It looked cool in the beginning, now he's not so sure that it was a good idea. HotRod
