Post power brakes on 36 Ford

I need help on putting the master cylinder and power booster on my 36 Ford. Can anyone help.
Can I use my original brake pedal?
Can I put the setup on the firewall?

Wink

i Used the unit from a chevy caprice on my 35 sedan. I was fortunate enough to have the original brake pedal still intact, so I just used it. The entire power unit sits close to where the old master cylinder was mounted. Just had to hook up with the pedal. Actually, it worked out very well. I think the 36 is just about the same. Good luck

Cool

Beetle9,

Talk to me, believe it or not I am working on a 1935 4-door sedan and have a 1979 Caprice donor car. Tell me how you did the brakes. What rear end did you use? I have a Mustang II front end to install and will get rotors with matching bolt pattern, so I need to figure out the rear end. OnceI change the front end, I won't be able to roll it until I get the new front rotors and wheels. If you can e-mail pictures, I would be immensely grateful.
