Power glide to TH350

Hey guys I am working on a 66 impala and need to know if I need to change the drive shaft when I put the turbo in, or will the one from the glide work.

It should work GREAT !!

If you have the same length T350
GM did make a few different ones.

I'm not sure of this. The length of Power glide and a TH350 are the same.

The tail housing is different , GM built the Th350 with 6 / 9 and 12 tail inch housings. you will have to measure the trans from end to end to know for sure. JMO

So the yolk for the glide should go right in the turbo its just a matter of the legnth? Also i have heard rumor of possibly having to change the cross member any thoughts? the th350 is a short shaft.

Looks like the Glide is only 1/8" shorter, so no problem there. The Mount is about 3/16" difference, slot the Hole to fix that.
Your Glide should be 27-spline Output Shaft same as the TH350.
55-64 use 16-Spline.
