Power-glide Turbo 350 Swap
Hello, I am swapping out a power-glide with a turbo 350 tranny in a 55 BelAir is it recommended that I cut the lower motor mount brackets to allow more wiggle room for the swap? I am also swapping out the 6 cylinder with a small block 350 chevy motor so the lower brackets will not be needed.

I'm almost sure you won't need to and what are you using for a crossmember

my buddy and i did that swap quite a few years back and all you need are new mounts and a new cross member you don't need to cut anything
