power or manual steering

So I'm building this 29 ford for door with 454 chev and mustang II front end. Is power steering a waste or a good thing.

P/S is going to be tight with that big block in an early Ford. IMO with what the 29 is going to weigh, it's a waste of time and money. On the other hand if you do decide to go with it then use a late model GM P/S pump, the small one with a Flaming River rack & pinion.
