Power to Manual steering conversion

i would like to convert the steering from power steering to manual steering in my 67 malibu....i like the look of not having hydraulic lines and the p/s pump so i can have a nice clean looking engine compartment.

i've been searching on ebay for manual steering boxes; i've found a couple o' possibilities...and in my searches i came across "vega manual steering boxes" and was wondering about using one of these in my malibu.

any pro's or con's would be appreciated...and info on the proper pittman arm to use.

thanx

i have driven manual steering cars /trucks in the past....i'm 50 years old, 6ft 2in tall, and a 25 year veteran truck driver; being tall, i've never had any problem with vehicles with manual steering.

any other pro's or cons anybody can come up with...i'm all ears
