I've never used one myself. I've read lots of horror stories that those off shore knockoff manifolds have some issues with slight leakage from poor manufacturing standards...oil, coolant and vacuum. One guy mentioned that the machining wasn't that good at the cylinderhead mating surfaces.
In all fairness, others said they never had those problems.
For the price difference over an American brand name like EDELBROCK, WEIAND, HOLLEY, etc., those that had the issues said in hindsight they lost money when they ended up buying a name brand. The aggravation wasn't worth the savings.
Trust me,the performer has it beat in all aspects. I had one leak under the intake runners and smoke on a friends motor that I put together,I used it because he already had bought it,I switched to a Edelbrock performer eps, Aside from being happy about the oil consumption and vacuum leak being fixed, he says his horse power/torque took a notable jump.
