power rear window on a truck?

who makes these things? is it a factory option from ford? a friend of mine had a 86 ranger and it had a power rear window in it, not like a sliding window, the whole window goes down. we pulled it out and it appears to be an aftermarket thing cuz of the fasteners used to mount it. I pulled it out thinking I might be able to modify it or somehting into my 85 s-10. the side is right but the s-10 is flat and the ranger is slanted in back. the window flange is riveted on the main body of the unit, which makes me things its universal and maybe i could get a flange kit for it to fit in my tuck, but I dont know who makes them, cant seem to find any companies that make such a thing. so does anybpody know??

The only widow I ever saw that did what you are describing was the devider in a limo. I tsoudns like someone did this on their own. If you have good fab skills you could do it yourself. Infact you have seen the templet already. I am sure it will work in a S10 wiht small modificaitons. You might want to try a universal power window at www.autothisworld.com or any other comapny that sells the flexiable shaft widowe kit. Good luck
