This probably won't fix your problem with my reply, but I looked at a schematic for the 2004 Tahoe seats for my 53 Suburban. They go through the computer to an actuator module and then through the door switches. You may have to locate the actuator modules at a wrecking yard and incorporate them into the seat job. I know it won't be easy but it will be done. The airbag being deployed should not cause this. When you get a wrecked Trailblazer with side airbags deployed you can still work the power seat.
