Power Seats Monte Carlo SS

Here's my problem, I bought the seats, driver power, shifter, and console from a 2003 Monte Carlo SS for my 56 Chevy PU. I installed them and ran into a problem. I ran a ground wire and hot wire to the orange . Seat will go forward and back, but not up / down, or tilt. When I move the seat mounted switch the motor clicks but will not move. It feels like it is all the way down but will not move up or down. Any ideas or can anyone post a wiring diagram for the seat.
Thanks

Make sure you have a ground connected to the black wire that goes to the seat control switch.
Seats operate by running the motors in forward and reverse by changing the polarity of the motor which is done with the seat mounted switch.
If that's not the problem, check the internal connections in the switch per the AZ diagram.
Does the passenger seat work OK?
