power steering control valve instulation

I would like to know how hard it is to replace the power steering control valve on a 1978 corvette.Mine leaks all the time so I think it is time to replace it and the hyd lines and the cylinder.Is the power steeing control valve alredy set up or do you have to adjust it ?
