Power Steering line conection problems.
I have an old '49 F-1 PU with a Must II front end and a mid-80's 302 H.O. engine & AOD. Problem is that the power steering hi pressure line from the stock mid-80's power steering pump to the Must II rack is WAY too long & winds around everything! Just wondering if anyone knows of a stock Ford line that would fit w/o having to go through the hassle of shortening & all the stuff that goes along with same?? The run is only about 16" yet the line in place is like 54". The ends are not flare they are seals and both are female.

Do you have a shop near you that makes hi pressure lines? It may be cheaper to go this route than to buy a new line. Otherwise, go to the Ford dealership near you and ask them to look it up for you on their computer. Good Luck and let us know if you find a suitable hose!
