Power Steering Line - Custom Make

I need to have a custom length high pressure line made for my GM power steering. The local parts house is of no use. Where can I go to get the fittings I need, the hose and someone who knows how to operate the crimping machine?

You might try an auto air conditioning shop. They use crimping machines on a daily basis. If you buy a hose longer than you need they might be able to shorten it and crimp on the new fittings.

Look in the yellow pages under hydraulic equipment repair or hydraulic supplies. A good hydraulic shop can make whatever you need.

hoses

I have purchased do it yourself kits in the past from a parts house. The hose comes in two parts, a hard line and the flexible line. Cut and bend the hard line, then tighten it into the special fitting on the flex line- a real heavy duty thing. Worked great. Bill
