Post power steering pulley

this might sound like a dumb question but how do you install the pulley on a '79 chevy power steering pump. It has an allen head in the end of the shaft. I need to change the pump but I don't want to take it off until I know how to install the pulley on the next pump.
Thanks

the pulley is a press on, pull off job, and as i already learned, when pulling one, get the right tool, i tried to 2 jaw and it only rounds off the lip. when reinstalling one, you can do this little trick, stick the pump in a freezer a few hours, then take the pulley and heat it with a torch, take the pump out of the freezer when you get the pulley hot enough, then slip it on the shaft, you can use a rubber mallet to press it back on this way. seen a friend of mine do it like this and it worked pretty good.

powersteering pully

You can buy a tool to take off and install the pulleys for around $80.00 at napa or snap-on etc. They work really well.
