Power steering pump on blown motor

Got a real problem thats got me stumped...I can't seem to align my power steering pump pulley with the 2 groove crank pulley. I'm using a B&M 250 on a sbc that requires me to use a 2 groove pulley...the alternator lines up perfectly with the inside crank pulley groove but my power steering pump pulley is about an inch off. I ordered a inset one groove pulley from March that would bring the pulley in as close to the power steering pump body to line up with the outside crank groove but it's still not even close. Not sure what to do...I definitely want power steering...are there any other GM pumps that have shorter snouts. I was thinking Corvette pumps...help!
