Power Steering question, 67 Impala
I have a 67 Impala with power steering, and I was wanting to upgrade. I was looking for less play in the steering wheel and to get that firm tighter feel when driving. I found a delphi kit here Is this a good solution? Also, it wants me to pick between 2.5 and 3.5. I feel stupid, but I have no clue which one I need or what those numbers are even referring to lol
If there is a better or less expensive choice that would be great. Thanks |

I sent them a message, if you want to wait, I'll post the info. This really got my curiosity, am I missing something? Or is it simply poor catalog design? We will find out.

That steering box will certainly work, though it is pricey. A less expensive solution is to have your stock box rebuilt with a quick ratio gearset. I've used Power Steering Services several times and have been very happy with their service. Cost is about half of the box you posted.
