No biggie, that is done all the time. Only probelm is that GM pumps put out too much pressure and you wil have goosey steering so get one of those little $39 pressure reducing valves all the rod parts houses sell made specifically for this application.
It slips easily into the high pressure outlet port in the back of the pump and will match the pum to the rack. Another fix is to get one of Heidt's $80 adjustable pressure regulators. Either way, no biggie. |
