power steering, sprays fluid out the vent whole on reservoir cap

I just joined so hope i'm doing this right, I have a 38 dodge street rod with a 350cu. in 375horse radical cam, with powersteering, problem, It keeps blowing fluid out the top of the reservior, have bleed the reservoir, filled reservoir half full, and reservoir has a check val. in bottom of it , run line with tee into over flow line, so it would circulate back into the system. Has anyone had this problem,or do you know what I can do to correct it. Colt 45

I know you said you bled the steering line, but you might want to bleed it again. I had a similar problem on an old 84 Ford F150, it was creating pressure in the reservoir and the fluid looked like it was "boiling." The fluid was rolling over etc.

I completely drained the lines and reservoir then refilled it with fluid. I spent extra time turning the steering wheel lock to lock until the steering pump quit whining. It was cured.
