Post power steering too easy

I have 1936 chevy with 350engine, gm power steering pump, and mustang11 frontend.Stering was to easy and quick,.Ichanged the pressure valve with one from a caravan,and it did inprove my steering,but it's still to easy.CAN ANYBODY HELP,,PAUL

try a valve and spring from a K car or Aris,all have sagnaw pumps, or mabey a larger pulley on pump. GOOD LUCK JF

This company specializes in adapting power steering to older vehicles, they sell an adjustable/proportional valve that will do what you want. Give them a call and see if you can adapt it to your situation.
