Power Steering Yes Or No

SHOULD I USE POWER STEERING ON MY 48 FORD COUPE WITH MUSTANG II ? AND A BIG BLOCK CHEVY . WHAT ABOUT POWER BRAKES OR MANUAL ON THE FIRE WALL OR UNDER THE FLOOR ?

No need to yell we will hear you, With a big block I would go with the power steering, I have it on the 36 and the wife even enjoys driving it. I would also go with the power brakes and with the larger rotors. The location of the booster is entirely up to you. a lot of people put them under the floor for cosmetic reason. If you put it on the firewall be sure and brace your mounting point as those old firewall do like to flex, whatever car you get the pedal assembly out of also get the brace that runs back to the dash.

If you decide to put it under the floor be sure and take into consideration your exhaust routing.

I agree, power all the way. It makes it that much more enjoyable driving. If you put the brakes on the fire wall, get a small booster ( 7 or 8 inch ) gives you that much more room for valve cover removal....My 02..........GlennK
