Power Window/Door locks

I have just wired and installed AutoLoc Power windows in my Studebaker Camstar pickup. I tapped into the power of the window circut to avoid running another wire into the door. I just use the door solenoid to "pop" open the door by pushing a button SP momentary switch. Should I operate the solenoid by the Positive wire or by grounding the circut and wiring the solenoid HOT ie should I solid wire the ground or the positive?

Thanks
Screwy Lewy

Screwy, on a soleniod it doesn't mattter as long as you have good power and groung. The wires can be either way. Autoloc has a real great tech line too! Ray (Autoloc dealer)

Forgot to tell you, you can use ! power source for all the acc. it the door as long as the right gauge wire and fuse or breaker can handle whatever is in the door. Only need 1 power wire. Ray
