Guys thanks for the info. Ouch though. I did not expect $700 for a 4 window application. I did a little searching on the net and found kits for around $300. Has anyone tried these out? There is a 2 door kit from EZ wiring that is about $150 and they said I can buy two kits in order to control 4 windows.
Thoughts?
Use your old Plymouth window riser mechanisms. Cut off the crank handle and gear and weld on a bracket to adapt 80's Ford power motors. Dirt cheap @ Pick-A-Part and better than any after market Chinese risers out there. See here and here.
i retrofitted 06 dodge durango front window regulators into my 58 chevy pickup. they were free
i used the front regulators because they were scissors type. the backs are single arm.
