power windows/auto locks

I have an 87 chevrolet caprice and the auto locks will unlock but not lock. The power windows are also feeling pretty weak. How do I fix this and what do I need?

Window regulator and electric locks

Remove your inner door panel then clean all the lock actuating rods, window regulator tracks and arms with mineral spirits. Lube with white lithium grease. That should get everything working well. On my Cadi I had to drill out all the rivets that hold in the electric window regulator motor and mechanicals to remove clean and lube it. I used nuts and bolts to reinstall the unit. It now works great. Good luck!
