Powerblock TV online magazine

Hey guys, I know we are all supposed to officially hate Powerblock TV but secretly watch it every weekend anyway. I even registered on their website recently so I could apply for their project prize money give-away to help my grandson finance his '59 Ely car (hey I have a better shot at that than the Kalifornia lottery!). I wanted to alert you to a new feature they started which is a FREE on-line magazine. I have looked thru the first couple issues and must say the articles are VERY good. In fact there is WAY less advertising than in a Hot Rod, Street Rodder, or Rod & Custom and the photography in the articles is top notch. As I recall there have been articles on installing and setting up gears in a Salisbury rear end, aligning body panels B4 paint, installing NOS, nice flame painting pictorial, basic cam installation and full 440 engine build-ups for the novice, and more. As good or better than any news stand rag and FREE! Check it out, just don't tell anyone you are doing it.

So...I'm in trouble if I say I watch it, both days?? I only wish they would do more hot rod/street rod builds but like all car shows they have to go with the ads products. As much as I dislike to say it I guess Camaros and Mustangs are probably more popular. But on the other hand at least it's not the drama of the week and who's going to be fired. For the most part they actually do build something and not just assemble parts (like TruckU, boo hiss). And since the advent of Fuller on 2 Guys they are doing more fab work. I have several times sent email to the PB and suggested a rod and custom program to go between the muscle car shows and the off road shows. Parts donations from suppliers can't be that hard to get and they could build one real "old" car, one repop old car and customs of several years. Oh well...

Thanks for the info, Willys.
Why are we suppose to hate it?

Hi,
I've tried to watch it a couple of times, to many "we'll be back after the break", I get up & when I get back the show is over, to
be fair though, I don't watch tv much & will do the same thing if I'm watching a movie, when it's getting close to the end they start running the commercials more frequently, I get up & leave.
Rich
PS I will check the free on-line magazine out though, Thanks.
Also, I hope you win the project money.
