Powerbuilt Hot Rod Tools

Hi,

I'm new and probably someone can help me with the following: I think the Powerbuilt tools Hot Rod series are cool tools, and the price seems ok to me. But unfortunately they are distributed at Pepboys. Unfortunately because I live in Europe and have no chance to buy at Pepboys - does anyone know a distributor who takes mail orders and could be persuaded to ship overseas?

Regards
Martin

BTW: What do you think about the quality of these tools?

Sorry I've never heard of them. I mostly buy Snap On, Gray or the odd China tool. Why not check out e bay

Yes you're right, I could also get another brand. The problem is that most American brands which offer metric and sae sizes are not available in Europe, and only the most expensive European brands offer both. Snap-On is available but way too expensive for me. I don't need to hurry but will probably have to mail order from America anyway, and therefore am looking around what there is. Powerbuilt have a website:

http://www.powerbuilttools.com/

The Hot Rod series of tools seem to be made in cooperation with the famous Hot Rod Magazine and therefore carry their name. I saw them in an ad in the said magazine but Powerbuilt don't list them on their website.

Regards
Martin

I checked out thier site and they do look like fine tools. almost reminds me of the Sears Craftsman line. I do agree that the snap Ons are expensive, that is why I buy 90% of them from e bay

Atlantis; I would stay away from tools made in China that do not have a lifetime warranty. 90% of all my tools are Sears Craftsman and they have an unconditional warranty. If the tool breaks you just bring it in to Sears and they replace it no questions asked. Hopefully you can find some in Europe. Good luck.
