Powered fan rad or aluminum fins?

700R4 in a 34 coupe.... Choices for cooling are either a powered fan unit under the frame or a finned aluminum tube also under the frame.

Pros... cons....? Gotta pull the pin soon.

If you can hang the cooler in the breeze it will work better but it may be to unprotected. Only you know how much space yo have and if the cooler will get good airflow. If you have to tuck it up a fan may be a good option. No way it will go in front of the cool pack?

Yes, and no. I don't want it in front of the engine's rad (nor in it). It's bad enough we have to look at the A/C through the grill, but in the south summers can get a bit toasty and keeping it away from the other heat rads is a good idea.
