I have not used one but, have read several good reviews saying it works great. Professional Products do make quality parts.
I've used a few of their Intake Manifolds and AirFlow air cleaner inserts with good results.

The only part from them I have used is one of their harmonic balancers on my 383, nice piece.

That distributor you ordered as you know comes with an adjustment knob that adjusts in or out the base timing 1/2 degree +/- per turn/click, you dont need to loosen the distributor hold down clamp just use the knob to move the timing around. This is a new feature, let us know how it works for you.
