Powerglide electric shift/Trans brake valve body.
Do any of you out there know who makes the Powerglide Electric shift/Trans brake valve body. This actually has a solenoid mounted to the valve body that is used to make the 1-2 shift at a pre-set RPM from an MSD box, shift light, or similar means. It also had a trans-brake. This is NOT an air shifted or solenoid mechanism attached to the shifter, but it's all internal and "hidden". Putting together a Glide for a handicapped racer and have one of these valve bodies, bought used; and the seller did not know who makes it either. Both the electric shift solenoid and the trans brake solenoid work; I'd just like to know more about it. Thanks.
It is the same unit on page 166 of the "Powerglide transmission handbook" by Carl H. Monroe and published by HP Books. It gives credit to TSR Racing Products for the photo, but I can't find anything about it on that companies site on the Net.

apologies ,
I forgot in the PM , to mention two things. Check with Turbo Action , they build some electric v-bodies. second item... send a PM to Chazmac here on HR about the PG v-body you have.. The guy is a wealth of knowledge Any photos of this v-body you can post??

e-shift glide
No pics on my end, but it's the same as I mentioned in the book noted in my initial post. Looks like FB Performance Transmissions and TSR Racing Products both have these setups, but I can't access any detailed info on either sites. I have sent an E-Mail to them both, maybe I'll hear something next week. I'll look at the Turbo Action site. Thanks.
