powerglide to th350 column shift?

i have a 73 nova that originally had a powerglide tranny. it now has a th350. i still have the powerglide column shifter and would like to know of a way to convert the column to a th350 shifter. does anyone know how? will the marks on the dash(P D R N 1 2 3) line up?

I'm posting here so I'll get your replies also. My 55 chevy has the same problem but the only thing that doesn't line up on the orig column shifter is the "P" - - - so far I've just said P-p-p-p-p-p on it

My 62 Pontiac (turbo350) still has the 2 speed column too.....P lines up with park, D lines up with drive.....L....you can feel 2 positions........so I just use it like that....works fine.
