Lightbulb powerglide transmission

I have a transmission that came out of a 66 impala I was told it is a powerglide. I disagree because it has a aluminum housing it also has a electrical connector on it the numbers on the tailshaft are 3878427 and the number on the bell housimg is 115-2 if anyone can identify this trans through the numbers I would appreciate it.

is the electrical plug on the right (passenger) up by the cooling lines? If so it could be the first attempt at emission control, electrial solniod sending vacumn to the dist in high gear only, if so remove switch (with oil preasure sending unit socket) plug hole with 1/8 in pipe plug. If the switch is on the other side you eather have a 300 or a 400, only tranie that old with elctrial plug. good luck.
