Powerglide Or Turbo400

I Am Building A Motor For A 3200 Pound Firebird, That Is Holding A 505 Chevy Big Block On 2 Stage Nitious. The Question Is Transmissions. Wanted To Run A Power Glide. I Have A Stock Unit. Can That Unit Be Built To Handle A Super Highpower Car Or Would It Be Best To Just Jack Up The Turbo400 That I Have. Ive Been Told The 400 Will Hold Up Longer Under The Horse Power But On A 8th Mile Track I Think The Glide Is Better For The Gears. Any Info Appreciated.

We build glides for use in the monster trucks. they tell us 2000 HP.

there is very little original power glide parts in them
Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.
