I have a sandblasted truck cab and I want to cover it in a black metal etching sealer primer what does Dupont have that is that same as PPG DP90?
This cab will be outside and will not have a color coat for a long time what should I use in Dupont?

if there is such a thing as any primer that is both an etching primer and a sealing primer, i would like to know about it. as far as i know there aint. but ah is a po dum white boy

The best thing you can do is lay on a layer of Southern Polyurethane's etching epoxy primer. The best cost effective protection you can get IMO. It outperforms anything PPG or DuPont has.

I second the SPI epoxy advice, and yes you can spray any primer surfacer over it or any topcoat and the epoxy itself is also very sandable after full cure is reached. High zinc phosphate content. Very good stuff.

For a sandblasted surface there's absolutely no need for a 1K self etching primer, in fact some self etch primers shouldn't be sprayed over a sandblasted surface.
