PPG Metallic Black

Hello folks! Has anyone seen the following color:

Pearl black metallic Nero Pegaso Mts 2CT *0052 PPG

It is a factory Lamborghini color!

I am painting a 81 Corvette and I am looking for a PPG paint code for a cool black metallic paint! I want something that is a rich deep black with silver or red metal flake that is factory size or maybe just a little larger!

Thanks for the help!

PPG metallic black

Any black in PPG's system will be the same as any straight black with pearl added. They don't use a special Itallian black to mix in an Idaho shop, so just find a level of pearl that suits you. There are many colors of pearl to intermix, or they have a few that are already blended together. Just be sure to weigh out whatever blend you like. Your local paint shop can help. But be careful with black, as too much of a given pearl (say, green) will make the black look like a really dark green (or whatever pearl you use). Ariva-dierche!

We get a few semis in with a metallic black on them. I personally think it looks better when it has a silver metallic rather then a gold. I painted a 80's honda civic many years ago that was a factory metallic black.

Why not just get the PPG paint in the Lambo's color code? Go here to look it up. The paint chips online will not be representative of the actual color but the PPG store can show you the color.
