Ppg Question

Can someone tell me what kind of paint PPG DT885 reducer is for urathane, epoxy or what. Someone gave me a case of it about 4 years old & i am not familiar with the ppg stuff

It would go into PPG's DBC base color and some of their clearcoats..but not all

You can also use it to reduce epoxy primer. Although the stuff is 4 years old there isn't a shelf life on it and it will work just fine. Slow drying for hotter temps. Bob

It reduces DBU, DBC, DCU2002 clear, and several primers.

DBU basecoat uses a reactive reducer DRR, I haven't used DBU in many years and I don't know if a regular urethane reducer would work. Bob

DT does work in Global's basecoat, primers, and clears and also Omni base, primers, and clears- no problem.
