Pre-War Plymouth Street Rods?
 

Anybody got a 1935-1939 Plymoth Rod? I've got a '36 Plymouth sedan & I don't see many around.

I have my 1940, but I just sold a 1937 Plymouth 4 door sedan, I wanted to rod it for my woman but she thought it was for "older people".

Time to change wives.....

I have a 37 Dodge business coupe. Plum Crazy purple,all steel. Mustang II front suspension and 12 Bolt posi out back.

The early Dodge/Plymouth cars make a good basis for a neat Rod..... They were built with better frames and brakes than the more popular (and prettier) Fords of the same era.

The old 6 cylinder engines had long crankshafts and bearing problems when used in a performance way......

They did not have a lot of interchangeability so that hurts them also. Try to get the most complete car you can to start with.

I like looking at them........they make my Fords look oh so much better :D :D

Hi, I'm a new guy here.

I have a 31 Plymouth Coupe. As you can see, it's a project car, but I really like it.

Your Coupe looks awesome Hemi_Joel.

The engine looks great that way. Have you seen the video of the Hemi powered Coupe pulling gears in the "Lounge"? It's HAIRY!

37 Dodge, all-Mopar pickup here, in progress although looking good. Am looking for the L & R grill surround moldings (same as 36'sedan, coupe and commcerical). Nice cars guys!

We go every year. I've gone since 1985, it's usually a 6 hour trip, not including the border wait, but it's well worth it!!!!!!!

I've got a 38 DeSoto which was later bought out by Dodge. Does that count?:D (well actually my car dosen't count. I have to count for it.:D )
