prep work
I am doing a full repaint on my car (color change and all). I have never done this before and my buddy has only done it a few times so we are rookies. What does Prep Work consist of...What will I need (material wise), how long will it take, How much will it cost me? Thanks for helping me out guys

This is a great opportunity for you to do a search on this board. That topic has been covered in GREAT detail many, many, many, many, times here.
A good place to start is read this sticky thread which is the first one in the Body-Exterior forum. In fact there are important Sticky Threads at the beginning of every forum and you should make it a point to read them all. They are there for a reason!

Willys is correct. Read the sticky threads and when you're done then ask whatever questions you have that are specific to your situation. Then we can do a much better job of answering them.
