Prepping Front Spoiler For Paint
I am going to repaint the front spoiler from my T-type. I have removed it from the car wet sanded with 240g w/d and I am not sure of the next step.
The OE paint (bc/cc) was shot apparently right over the plastic, I don't see any signs of primer. It is a yellow colored plastic, not sure of the type. Do I wet sand with a finer paper and paint (black) right over it, should I prime it first before paint? If primed first I already have a PPG 2k primer surfacer with hardener will it work, is there some other primer to use first, if needed? Thanks |
