I'm starting to think about spraying the truck down with WD-40, and sticking it someplace dry for a while. I really don't think that I can do it justice right now. I did find a place that does the chemical dip not too far away, and cheap, also. So i will eventually do this, but the truck isn't exactly what i was looking for.
So now my alternatives are...well...building me a body from scratch, or atleast....mostly scratch.
Or, using my "donor" frame, and the cab already on it, which, i'm not sure if its a 53' Chevy, because now that i think about it, its starting to resemble a mid-40's ford for some reason. But it seems too big. Anyway, its pretty solid, still has the paint on it, and is already stripped to nothing. Just need a passenger side door, and some rockers.
Either that, or i could just concentrate on a 53' Mercury convertible i found.
