Pricing on a Hood scoop job ?
Well i have a 70 cougar and the hood is in excellent shape. With the carb and Air filter setup it wont let the hood close, by like 2 or 3 inches . If i take this to a shop and for a small modest cowl or scoop what would the ballpark figure be? Any help would be appreciated !!

Asking a 'how much for?" question will get a bunch of different responses because of different shops, areas, if they do custom as opposed to typical collision, etc., etc. You'll have scoop cost-$100-200, installation and bodywork- $100or so, and paint and buff- $100 plus... so maybe $300-400 depending on shop, some pros will get over a grand for a simple scoop install. Only way is to ask your local shop (or do as we do at Hotrodders.com-..... build it yourself and SAVE!$!$!$!)
