Primedia employs the biggest IDIOTS on the face of the earth
I swear everyone that works at Primedia, publishers of Street Rodder, Custom Rodder etc, are the stupidest people ever. I unfortunatly advertise in Street Rodder and Custom Rodder and have to deal with these idiots on a regular basis. Every single month, somehow they screw up my billing. The first issue i put an ad in Street Rodder, I gave them a ONE TIME permission to run my business credit card to make sure it made the deadline. Every month since then the dumb***** run my card without permission. I have asked a countless number of for them to remove my credit card from their system, and the stupid idiots do not listen. I have asked for a paper invoice every month they run my credit card, but aparently they are too stupid to print out invoices and mail them to their advertisers. Theres even alot more too it than this, but as im typing this im getting so TO'd im about to smash my keyboard. Check out the new front page to my website too.....flippin idiots

I am not sure, but I think it is quite possibly a crime to run somebodies credit card without their permission. Might mention that you are considering pressing charges. Also might have to go several steps up the food chain.

Yeah your right. I am actually calling VISA/Nationa City Bank first thing in the morning and see if they can block any upcoming charges from Primedia. I will then let the amoebas at Primedia know what i did, and maybe, just maybe they will start sending me a monthly invoice on a piece of paper. I even offered to them once that i would pay for the postage and even the paper if they were worried about that, but they said it wasnt necessary. Needless to say i never received a paper invoice. One more time and i will just cancel my ad.

File a complaint with your States Attorney General..CC a copy of the complaint to Primedia..you may also mention the name of your contact person at Primedia to the effect that they did not do thier job etc..
Have done that and when the smoke settled it was yes sir..we will sir..what would you like sir.. OMT

although i hate nothing more than credit card companies. they would have been the first ones to call. they will stop the unapproved charges you are talking about. wish i had your money. those ads costs what? $2000 a month for about an inch? or is it 5K?

I have a good friend that took his car to race in one of there pro events...... it turned into the biggest pain in the butt for him, he didn't even go back Sunday for eliminations. They actually made him go buy numbers for his car because they said shoe polish was not good enough... What the heck is that????? Drag racers have used shoe polish since the beginning of time. Then he needed to cut one up to make a letter or something like that and the tech guy was not sure if that was acceptable????? what a bunch of clowns..... i canceled all my subscriptions after that deal.....

Why dont you get a tell them HOW your a real LOAYL "GUNS AND AMMO" reader too.. hint hint... also I think primemedia "call center" is in INDIA...dont get me started on that one again...

Those idiots can't get a simple magazine subscription right without screwing it all to hell and back. I can only imagine the frustration that you are going thru. Good luck on getting it straightened out. I'll ask you again this summer how it's going. LOL!!!

Well its supposedly straightened out now. I was told I am being credited for the mischarges. Although it has not shown up in my online statement yet, it does usually take 48 hours to actually post on your account. And we'll see if i get the paper invoice the end of this month...my fingers are crossed.

I am getting my mags from the UK now, I signed up for all except ChevyHiPerformance, 4 mags was just too expensive.
Got three on Monday.

Content is pretty lacking too. Take a look at page22 of the Dec issue of Hot Rod...........'58 corvette that was purchased new in 58....and still has the ORIGINAL 327?????? What kind of retards edit this rag?

I can guarantee you, in every issue of Rod and CUstom, that there will be at least 5 very obvious typos, spelling errors etc... SUre people make mistakes, but this is a magaizine? dont they have spell checkers or Copy editors?
