either that or polyester primer, epoxy, even lacquer primer.
It's more or less about brands that are compatible, and by that I mainly mean for paint companies to honor their warranties. Can't go wrong with a good 2k urethane.
Compatible and recommended are different things. Not many people recommend lacquer primer for much of anything auto related these days.
Epoxy and 2K primers are the norm.
SPI primers are my preference, never heard of a better product and the price is easy on my wallet.
