Primer for BC/CC and complete repaint question

I've got a 67 mustang that i'm doing a complete color change. Right now the doors, hood, fenders and trunk are off the car. I would like to paint the area under the front fenders, door jambs and under hood and trunk then put them back on and spray the outside. I'll be using BC/CC in the Copperhead metallic and would like to know if there will be any problems with the door jambs and overspray.
Also, what primer should i be using for the BC/CC? I've got some left over Acrylic primer (1K). Will it be ok?
Thanks, Jerry
