I am priming the oil pump on a 327 with a high volume oil pump but oil is only coming out of maybe about two rockers is this normal or should it pump oil out of all 16
You should be getting lots of oil. What type of tool ar you using to turn the pump? If you are not using the correc tool or one made from a modified distributor shaft, you are not driesting the oil flow in the designed passages and galleys.
I am using a oil pump priming tool its pumping oil but all the oil is coming out around the top of the oil pump priming tool and one oil gallery on the block housing where the distributor go's down in the block; also the intake is not install yet
What about your gauge? Priming till you get a reading on your gauge is all you need.
