If i'd have saved
all the money i've spent on tools etc, I could have bought a new truck or had the one I have done by someone else...... but thats ok, I consider it an investment that will be reaping good returns way on down the road....
but the way i look at it ( no offense too any COMPETENT professional mechanics) ( I feel the same way about doctors too) I can do as good a job OR better than some bozo who could give a ratsass about my ride, and for a heck of a lot cheaper. and i can do it the way
I want.... and having
all the right equipment makes a huge difference.......
and I figure the time I spend working in my shop as part of my salary....... if i was paying $60 an hour for labor at a shop, I should get at least 1/2 that..... I spend it all on parts.....
I wonder if my wife really buys that, or is she just humoring me????
