It is very obvious that alot of people have not used these heads including myself. Cobalt are you considering these heads for a build? Its my opinion, I would try them for 650 dollars. I am also for free enterprize, and a free market. This country is headed for a socialism state. When that happens the government is going to tell you what you can buy, how much you work for etc. Why do we as a county ship are scrap to china? Who was it that made that choice. My point is that if you dont like offshore products, do something. Please dont knock a seller doing business inside the US, paying taxes, and helping me support all the low life scum. Now if you had a personal experiance with Pro Comp 210cc heads and or the pro comp rods, I would like to here about it. Hear say doesnt stand up in court, it should be taken with a grain of salt on this forum.

My curiosity regarding the PC 210cc Al heads is exactly that- curiosity.

These heads were originally brought to my attention on this forum, I looked at the web site (not the seller- the 'manufacturer'- i.e. importer) and found meaningful info to be lacking. I had hoped- by asking the seller for the specs (having received no reply from PC)- to fill in the blanks.

However, THIS thread was not to discuss that seller- or ANY seller. It was to see what people's experiences/opinions were w/PC products in general. PC, only because they seem to be the biggest players, next to PP- who are a distant second.

EDIT- AFA the political/economic end of it, I have my thoughts on the subject, as do many. But in the engine section of an automotive forum is not where I would care to air them.

Looks to me like he's trying to decide whether to like them or not....

Cobalt has NOT knocked ANY seller, on the contrary, he has repeatedly stated that this in NOT about ANY seller, it's about curiosity about a PRODUCT.

First off, Cobalt is ASKING for firsthand, personal experiences. And second, who in the hell said anything about court???? Public opinion and court are two VERY different animals, yet each has their own form of justice,

Thanks for (again) pointing this out. Maybe hearing it enough times, from enough different people will get the point across. But I'm not holding my breath. lol

I would be a 12th vote, but i wanted a "only if quality can be proven" option. Its kind of like a review I suppse but a review is an opinion...

You just love bustin' my balls, doncha? lol

But, yeah, I prolly should have given more options. I know- next time, I'll run a poll to see what the poll should ask!

Hey v, don't go away mad. Just... nevermind.

But seriously- you've said a couple times that you came here to LEARN. How do you intend to do that w/o asking questions or reading the answers to what others have asked? That's all I'm doing- ASKING QUESTIONS!!

Actaully this time I wasn't bustin your balls, more of everyone elses' the things you asked for are not part of what I would call a review, its just their basic build sheet. Everyone else seems to be on the "he said she said, how sould you say, say what? you can't say that," etc. band wagon. A lot of the posters I really don't view as credible sources, there are a few on this thread that I do view as credible and all they said for the most part is the data should be available just as RHS, Dart, AFR, Brodix, etc.makes there's available. No politics, no hearsay, just asking for the facts.

Some people, , would rather point fingers and cast blame than to try to answer the, (apparently), really hard questions, like "what is this part made of?", and "what kinda parts are in it?"

That's another one that I've not heard anything about- either way. I hope someone has some info...

The following is purely hypothetical.

The thought has occurred to me, that what if some of these offshore parts (PC, along wall the others) ARE being reverse engineered- from parts manufactured by American companies?

I wonder how the peanut gallery would view the 'free enterprise' sale of these parts, in THAT light.

After all, even though these knock-offs are being sold by a US-based company, they would STILL be taking profits and jobs from the domestic-based originators of that part- would they not?

So much for me not airing my socioeconomic thoughts here. My bad!

Perfect case in point, Performance Products. Everything I've seen of theirs is a pretty much direct copy of Edelbrock designs.I bet if you asked Vic or Cammy Edelbrock for their opinion, in a private conversation, you'd get an EARFUL.

I personally have never purchased any Pro Comp product so I have no experience with them. What I can say is when someone will not give out information like machining specs about them it worries me that "the deal is too good to be true"
