Pro Comp Metering Blocks

Has anyone had experience with Pro Comp metering blocks? I'm looking for information on them, how well they work, what is adjustable, fit and finish, etc?

Before all the Chinese parts ranting begins I don't care what country they were made in and I am aware that many of ProComps past parts have had quality issues.

Your question is an oxymoron. If you don't care where they're made how can you care about quality? My suggestion is, since quality seems to be the issue, purchase from a known quality company such as Holley, Barry Grant, Quick Fuel, etc.

i bought one last year the 4412 holly 2 barrel on my circle car, didnt work worth a crap! car wouldnt rev, black smoke like CRAZY! no matter what we did, it wouldnt cooperate, so the stocker went back on. I think the block is still on my shelf.

Without knowing what it is exactly that you want to accomplish, there are ways to have a 4160 w/a jetable secondary side w/o needing to go to a block.

Quick Fuel offers an affordable plate ($41.16 + S&H) w/replaceable jets, you can do this mod to a Holley plate as well.

we use the same holley at the tracks here in SOCAL, we found that VDL makes a really awsome 4412 holley. gave us 15 hp

15 HP from a carb swap is MAJOR good.

I want tunable PVCR's and emulsion circuts. I can convert a standard Holley block, which i may end up doing but the $45 for two procomps is dirt cheap and I don't have to worry about goofing up threads when I tap it.
