hi folks, maybe you can help me with a problem i cant get my head around.i just bought a 93 ford extend a cab,302 efi with a tow package, auto tranny and posi track. i dont know what tranny it has ,but the pan is big enough to wash a baby in. Anyway . i've been having problems with hard shifting, and upon re-accelleration a slight spin before it catches.i checked the fuses the other day , trying to get the speedo working. the same fuse has transmission written on it too.i replaced the missing fuse.the temp gauge and speedometer worked fine, but as soon as you pull away it shifts to second then third, within 50 feet,then of course it bogs out.on the same note, the battery ,fuel ,and oil pressure gauges register high. when you pull the fuse, all returns to normal.if it has parts that move, i can fix it,but this i can't so please help if you can. mike <img src="graemlins/pain.gif" border="0" alt="[pain]" />
