problems with a t400

so,i end up w/ a recently pro built early 70s t400,many mods, welded sungear, and output carrier assy,,removed front band and servo,1-2 accum has its o-rings out,(this is all manual valve),no gov, circuit tubes gone, and plugs in its place, useing a shift kit w/ 1 checkball,#5 position been drilled, others r capped, uses #4 checkball, could use #3 according to seperator plate,a 3/16" spacer was installed between the 1-2 shift valve and 1-2 modulator valve, the center support assy is missing the second metal sealing ring, half the intermidiate clutch springs r missing, missing 2-3 accumilator piston cup and spring. This car has 650 horses in the motor,i need to get it right, came in w/ a burnt direct clutch pack, but, burnt funny, like 1/4' flat pieces are shedding(burnt)from the disc faces, all except the disc side faceing the metal at the pressure plate, looks new.i was thinking maybe this pack rode because of being too tight?theres no 2nd gear in this trans,,thats has a heavy sprag that mounts to back of center support assy, and reaction drum /input carrier,i can find no spec as to which way this should turn, wish i knew, maybe this is cause of all?any help would be appreciated, cant keep this car much longer,im swimming, also has poor design on mounts, takes half day to remove it,ide like to install this once.

k.its fixt, the checkball placement paper my trans jobber sent was wrong,,,yes wrong, they had it listed as useing 1 of 2 possibilties to change feel of shift.this unit had a restrictor cap in the reverse hole that mates to reverse in the center support,in that cavity went the checkball,,trans uses no 1-2 acumalator seals,if this isnt blocked it will slip in the direct clutch, and burn it wheel stands now in 2nd and 1st no problems.and that spag thats on the center support turns counterclock, not clockwise, looking at it from either way(flipping over).so hey,i swam,i made it to shore,is ok tho, gawt another brain twister posted about a landrover.someone throw me a lifering plz
