Finally got my Mustang moving. Had my C5 rebuilt with a shift kit, everything lined up nicely this time. Engine actually revs lower when I put it in gear. And for the first time in about 7 months of my first engine/trans transplant, the thing actually moves on its own.

Dad's jaw dropped to the ground when he pulled in yesterday and I drove it to the top of the driveway. Then he got a little T'd when I gunned it and left a 2 foot trail of sweet n' sour smelling rubber on his driveway. I know, I'm bad But I'm happy

Thanks for all your help and advice everyone. Bars open, drinks are on the house tonight.

hay there mooch keep your foot off that gas with that rearend. so its already doin the posi dance not much longer till you post in the rearend forum. i know how u feel about it . i went a little to right foot happy when i got my stang take care of it. live it ,love it and beat the ***** out of it.
